Hi guys,

Does anyone have any idea as to how to change the shooting resolution for a Canon EOS 400D?? It is currently on a default set at 72 dpi, but Im looking to crank it up to at least 200, but I have lost the manual. Any ideas??

Hi Kev

Is this what your looking for http://oregonstate.edu/is/mediaservices/sms/sites/default/fi les/Canon_Rebel_XTi.pdf

Or go here http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/User_Manuals/index.asp

and pick your model, also check the Software CD which came with the camera, you might have a PDF version on there

Kev

DSLRs (and most digital cameras) shoot at one resolution which you can not change - although you can change the number of pixels that are captured. Pixels per inch are only really relevant when it comes to printing - where you can re-size your very large but low resolution 72 dpi file to a smaller one at a higher resolution.
